Zhongjing Financial Center: A Harmonious Blend of Elegance and Tranquility

The Zhongjing Financial Center is a testament to the philosophy that the environment shapes people just as much as people shape the environment. The design team at PleasantHouse has crafted a space that is more relaxing and less flashy, focusing on the use of pure materials and neat lines to create a fresh and natural atmosphere. The dominant tones of pure white and plain wood are complemented by sunlight and transparent materials, creating an elegant ambiance that alleviates work-related stress.

The unique properties of the Zhongjing Financial Center are further enhanced by the vertical wooden grilles that allow a soft flow of shadows, hinting at a trace of Chinese flavor. The textured brass and luminaire details elevate the design, while the high-floor rest area offers panoramic views of the entire park. The interspersion of lemon yellow and peacock blue adds a touch of vitality and poetic flavor to the busy working atmosphere.

The design realization of the Zhongjing Financial Center was a meticulous process. The property, located on the 24th and 25th floors of the building, originally had a seemingly cramped structure. However, the design team fully utilized the interior partial raised space and two-sided sloped roof to create a more spacious layout. By managing the cadence with proportion and dividing views with lines, the office space was given harmony and order.

The Zhongjing Financial Center covers an area of 2,800 square meters and was completed in February 2017, after a six-month design and construction process. The design team included Xie Fuji, Ye Ling, Guo Chunyang, Xia Lei, and Cui Jun, who all contributed to the project's success. The design not only creates an interface and plan for the space but also subtly influences the people within it, allowing them to enjoy tranquility even amid the everyday competition.

The Zhongjing Financial Center's design excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The Zhongjing Financial Center, with its harmonious blend of elegance and tranquility, is indeed a deserving recipient of this accolade.
